Become a Guardian Ad Litem

The Guardian ad Litem Program provides trained, independent advocates to represent and promote the best interests of abused, neglected and dependent children involved in the State Court System.

Upcoming Training is the week of October 19, 2015. Applications are accepted on an on-going basis. Screening interviews for the October training are being scheduled as soon as we get applications in.

Informational sessions are the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 6:00 pm at the GAL program office at the Gaston County Courthouse. We have a GAL volunteer and staff member at each informational session to answer questions.
