Bridging the Gap in the Foster Care Community

Life Box

A life box is for children in foster/kinship care that are graduating from high school or getting their GED and are entering the work force OR attending college. A life box can be filled with household items for the youth that is living on their own for the first time. It can be filled with dorm and college essentials if that child is going to college. It can be filled with other essentials for the child entering the work force. This is an expensive time in their lives and we want to help relieve that burden and help them start their new journey with what they need.  These Life Boxes are specifically made up for each child and no two life boxes are ever alike. Please make the request on the General Request form.
