A transformative experience for children

in foster and kinship care!

At Bridge Camp, we believe in the power of connection, the joy of shared experiences, and the resilience of the human spirit. Nestled in the serene beauty of Camp Lurecrest in Lake Lure, NC Bridge Camp offers a safe haven where children can forge lifelong friendships, create cherished memories and realize they are never alone on their journey.

Bridge Camp is for children in foster and kinship care from all over the Carolinas. It’s for children 8 to 18 years old (still in high school) currently in foster/kinship care OR were adopted from foster care in the last year and are Level 1, non-therapeutic children.

Camper Registration is CLOSED

Our camp is more than just a retreat; it’s a vibrant community where laughter echoes through the tree and bonds are woven through shared adventures. From exhilarating water activities to spirited outdoor activity games, every moment at Bridge Camp is infused with joy, camaraderie and endless possibilities.

But Bridge Camp is more than just fun and games. It’s a place of empowerment, where children discover their strengths, cultivate resilience and embrace their unique stories. Through praise and worship, captivating speakers, and heartfelt discussions, we provide a supportive environment where campers can explore their emotions, express themselves freely and find solace in the understanding embrace of their peers.

Our dedicated team of camp counselors, many of whom return year after year, are passionate about creating an inclusive, nurturing space where every child feels seen, heard and valued.

Join us August 10-13, 2024 for an unforgettable experience that will touch hearts, ignite spirits, and create memories to last a lifetime. Together, lets bridge the gap between past and present, sorrow and joy, isolation and community. Together, let’s build bridges of hope, resilience and love
